Join us to explore and protect the remote waters of the Coral Triangle!
Our ocean conservation expeditions are based on 5-star live-aboard vessels that Planet Deep has “re-purposed” to dive, snorkel, explore and survey some of the most remote corners of the Coral Triangle. Places such as Indonesia, Timor Leste, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands. Raja Ampat, the Savu Sea, the Banda Sea, Sulawesi & Flores Seas are all part of the Coral Triangle Region and are home to the key oceanic “priority species” we focus on:
- Blue whales
- Sperm whales
- Bryde’s whales
- Beaked whales
- Orcas (Killer whales)
- Schooling hammerheads
to name but a few…
Data gathered during our Expeditions are crucial to move towards a better understanding of the oceanic ecosystem “hotspots” and at the same time, share these wilderness experiences with our guests.
Together, we will ensure that adventure tourism can play a productive role to convince governments to better protect these special places – some of the last tropical “Shangri-La’s” on our deep blue planet.
Our Expeditions are a great way to self-fund part of our priority projects as well as engage directly with our guests on their views and inputs on ocean conservation and our up-coming special projects. Contact us here to find out more.
